Porcelain Raft - “Shapeless & Gone”
I avoided listening to this band for the longest time, on their name alone. I know, how incredibly shallow and misguided of me, but I get like that sometimes. To me, the band name sounded like it came directly out of some “indie band name generator” app that you would find on Facebook or something.
Anyway, the record is out now so I gave it a spin on Spotify, and I am embarrassed to say that I quite like it. Not the sort of thing I listen to all the time, but it is beautifully done, no doubt. I like a lot more songs on it than I don’t, that’s for certain. This tune is one of my favorites for sure…enjoy.
